Faroe Islands Postal History Exhibit Awards
My exhibit is currently a eight-frame exhibit titled "Faroe Islands
Post, 19th Century to World War II". It covers the classic period of
Faroe Islands postal history. Included are:
- 1751 forerunner
- Early Skyds and pre-UPU mail
- From 1870 opening of first post office through 1899, showing all
postmarks used during this period
- 1919 Provisional Period
- Early 20th C Postal Routes (star + star removed cancel types)
- World War II Provisionals and Routes
It has won the following awards:
